In most cases, without direct instruction, most students find it difficult to manage their work-life balance simply forget about their slice of work they need to complete.

Slacker is a web-app that allows users to join a group that contains multiple members of their household and through an overall bigger list of items - tasks get automatically assigned to each member in the group.

đź›  Technologies that We Used

In this project, I did:

Website:

The landing/login page of our website in both dark and light mode. Fun Fact, this was adapted from our mobile app landing page design since we created that first.

The My Tasks section of our application organizes tasks that are created in the group task sections. These tasks are distributed evenly among each member of the group with the starting member being randomized.

The group task section shows a list of every task currently assigned to the group. The user is able to add a task, select the amount of time it happens per occurence (day, week, or month). The task is then auto updated on each group member’s screen without updating.

If you are not in a group, instead of “Email address”, you will see the options to create a group or join a group through an invitation. On this page after joining a group, you can see all the members and the “Slacker” who is doing the least amount of tasks.

The original mockup that we had for our first idea of creating a mobile application, created and designed by me. The design for our website was based off these mockpus and the CSS data from figma was used for the wide majority of styling elements. Additionally, the mobile application contains the ideas that we have for the future that we need to implement as we continue to work on the project.
